Most if not all agents will be on the portals. Be that Rightmove, Zoopla or On the Market, depending which location of the UK you are based. In the North east of the UK, Rightmove has the largest market share, followed by Zoopla then new boy on the block, On the Market. If your agent is not on two or more of these then you are missing out on getting potential buyers.
Do they have a list of potential buyers/hot leads? If an agent is on the portals, then they will be getting leads daily of people looking for properties to purchase. How are they contacting them? Remember putting your property on the portals isn’t selling houses, its just advertising, which is only part of the marketing/selling process.
Do they have newsletters or similar way of communicating with applicants or vendors (KIT – Keep in touch)
